Quad treks from Coral Bay
Coastal Adventure Tours publishes guided quad treks in Coral Bay. The operator describes them as rides through the dunes to lookouts, with a chance to see turtles. There are turtle variants, a variant with snorkelling and sunset trips.
The offer is advertised with booking links, but a listing does not confirm free places, and a tour on a given day is not confirmed here. Ask the operator before you plan around it. No trip promises turtles, and no nest visit is offered in the listing.

Turtles and the coast
What to expect.
The park agency names February and March as the months to see hatchlings along the Ningaloo coast. That does not mean you will see a hatching on a given day on a Coral Bay beach. Operators who watch turtles on land keep at least 15 m away, do not handle hatchlings and do not shine torches at them, according to the operator handbook in force from April 2026.
You cannot bring your own quad to this coast. Private, unlicensed quads and ATVs are prohibited in the Warroora Coast reserve. See the Warroora Station guide for the tracks, the closure notice and the camping rules there.
Choosing a departure
Heat and light.
Morning or midday
The listing gives departures at 9:00 and 12:30. Long-term average highs at Learmonth Airport, a regional comparison station and not Coral Bay, are 33.0 °C in October and 37.1 °C in December. A midday start in the hot months is the hottest part of the day.
Sunset
The sunset trip starts later, and the time changes with the season. Ask when it leaves on your date.
What to bring
Closed shoes, your licence and sun protection. A snorkel variant needs swimwear as well.
If plans change
Open tracks and weather can change a trip. Ask the operator how it handles a cancelled day before you pay.
